Just means you know you need to improve. As said, that takes time and effort. I dunno what's more simple than that.

Tyty, you will get better over time as long as you keep at it. You should have seen me when I start a new job or task that I'm not good at. I would get depressed and mad at myself. But as times moves on and I practiced, I got better. I'm sure the same will be for you.

Now only if I can get better at the guitar. I just can't get the cords.

I've had stitches twice. Once behind my ear due to a car accident when I was a kid. Then when I got my wisdom teeth taken care of. It felt so strange having them taken out.

BTW, Tyty, you are good at drawing.

Even though I'll admit that to the obvious (I did earlier in the thread, at least subtly) you have to get over yourself too.

If I didn't, for my own stuff, I don't think I'd have any side projects I do done. I'd be too worried about what everyone thought. It's fine to be introspective but who gives a damn about that if you never do anything...you're better off with hindsight, especially if it's not life-threatening if you reveal it to the world.

Worrying about it gets you nowhere.

Goes the same for everything in life. Fuck me with a crooked broomstick if I'm wrong.

If art was easy, everyone would do it. (heck, replace 'art' with anything )

Take it from personal experience, the worst thing you could do to prevent improvement is not draw. If you're serious about improving, read up on techniques, follow some artists you like, try to emulate how they do things. If it doesnt seem to be working, try something else.

The nice thing about the creative arts is that you dont have a strict set of guidelines you have to adhere to. Have fun with it and go nuts

Hiryuu's right about being worried about everything.

I guess that's why I'm starting to come around on a few things that I was worried about in the past.

You just gotta go for it sometimes...actually, no, all the time. If you worry about every little detail, you're not living.

Now, don't get me wrong, I worry, it is natural. Like huricane season. I'm worried for what might happen, but whatever will happen, will happen no matter how much I worry.

And now I think I'm just rambling.

Second grader. Congrats, you have me beat. Only decent piece of art I ever did was a pretty nice trace of Mega Man. It was from my first ever issue of Nintendo Power (Mega Man 2 on the cover).

Of course, that was a trace job and I really couldn't give a flip about drawing. Leave it to those who enjoy it.

I need to call my doctor in a few to tell them that I will be there in an hour.

The hair place said that I shouldn't get my hair relaxed. Damn. It's a pain to make it straight on my own.
