Out of all of the DLCs, I'd at least get Adell and Gig, as they both get a 3x3 AoE attack from the start.

But as I've seen someone say somewhere else, just pick whoever you like, as can all make them uber anyway.

On an unrelated note, I just get my first lv9999 pretty soon now (as in: a few minutes perhaps)

I didn't get a chance to mess around Gig a lot but you're right on his 3x3...not to mention it's ranged instead of being static like most (the only one outside of that which is equally worth it is an Orc's Orc God's Descent).
