At this point this is what I think about the iPhone.

Here's hoping Palm's successful with WebOS (since they've got a few other devices on the way that will be running it) and Google with their Android platform.

Sprint's gone up on their activation...I was sure it was 26 bucks back in '07 when I sold phones...

Not to mention, on the whole, if it ever came down to deposit, Sprint usually wallops AT&T. I'd have someone that would need a 500 dollar deposit with AT&T and check out Sprint to see if it was any better and they were anywhere from 0 to 200 dollars 99% of the time. I'm guessing it's different tax companies.

No wonder the Nokia phone works--I have a monochrome black-n'-white one which has withstood being frozen solid, stomped on by my boots, and being carried over a river.

I'm not sure what Nokia made those out of back in the day but they could survive a nuclear blast and still keep trucking.

According to the article for mine and my own experience, they made mine (at least) with a very thick (quarter-inch thick) sillicon pad for pressing buttons, a non-slip handle (for hum,id climates), and an abnormally thick plastic cover to protect the LCD glass.

Hence, my boot couldn't threaten it, because it was basically armored.
