I still don't like the idea of cloud computing; after all, especially on that kind of OS, you don't actually have any of the data; it's all elsewhere and they can do whatever they want with it.
Maybe good for people who don't care or don't mind having cheap laptops "netbooks" (I loathe that term), but no thanks.

I believe this is more targeted to companies than consumers. I can see companies taking advantage of this because they can better reign in their data and determine who does and doesn't have access. Also, it helps reduce IT overhead because you would just then need to manage a server than a series a desktops.
But yeah, with this foray... i don't know... google is growing scarier day by day... |
