Didn't the Wii have something similar?

Currently the news is just for Japan, but Sony could work with manga or comic book companies domestically.

Third parties offer similar services on the Wii and Nintendo DS. Sunsoft’s digital manga service is particularly interesting since it gives users an option to read manga with English subtitles even though it’s only out in Japan.


So it does. I guess I can peg the chances of this one coming over at about 5%... still bloody unlikely, but who knows? It could happen.
