That...isn't good.

Ground-to-ship, short-range.

Right when we're getting to July 4th too...which was the initial worry when they started horsing around a month ago.

So the Koreans are showing off their military Penis eh?

I love this part of the article right here.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Andrei Nesterenko also expressed concern over the North's missile launches, saying, "We have always asked North Koreans to abstain from actions that may exacerbate the situation."

Yeah, this is not going to go anywhere but more demonstrations of their actions. Just watch, they are going to launch a couple more within the next few days.

They keep on making mention of a long-range missile having the possibility of being launched at Hawaii. Defense has been upped since then and will likely be fairly high come this weekend.

This happened around the 4th of July a few years back from N. Korea as well.

Yeah but those missles back then were of a new kind iirc. Something about penetrating 10 feet in the ground and making a shock to anyone in the general area underground.

Long range testing will come soon. No surprises there.

Personally I dont think much will come of this. I agree with the article in the fact that thye are trying to get concessions. North Korea has balls but not so much as to start a war. Keep in mind they are being watched by nearly every European power so it would be fool hardy to try anything. South Korea on the other hand should be worried.

Not to mention NASA can count the shingles on every Korean's ceilings right now. So it's not like they can't get far if they do some shit to us.

That's assuming your average North Korean citizens even have shingles for NASA to count. Most of the populace live in shantytowns.

And then I think Persian Gulf when they could've done the same thing with Hussein.

We're still held to that space weaponry ban... Apparently Reagen's strategy scared the shit out of the Russians that much...

Yea...but Reagan's going from 'legend' to 'myth' these days...in a lot of things.

Speaking of Ronald Reagan, I made a Mass Effect character that looks EXACTLY like him...

I heard a little about this. But the way my dad and grandfather put it. They told the Russians we had Death Stars or something like that. Being able to shoot off missles from space.

I know it made Russia into a poorhouse, but did they really do this?

As for the latest attacks: Who knows if it is the Koreans or not. Too bad they never heard of a backup file. I am sure those sites will be back up and running before you know it.

If you're interested in this, check out Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative. Aka operation scare the ever loving shit out of Soviet Russia.

Your parents, more or less, were right about the death stars from space. We didn't have them, but a lot those things were in development. This is basically the high point of Reagan's 'build and develop' portion of his four point plan.

And Yahoo's serving up an article about health care reform under the wrong headline. Fail.
