I'll be waiting for the next x64 build of it to be released from my normal sites.

Hmm...the page rendering is different. It doesn't 'wait' for certain things to render like the previous versions did.

Kinda reminds me of another browser.

Not touching until I hear people saying that it's a good enough upgrade from FF2. That's why I stayed away from FF3.

To anyone interested, no, the bicubic image filtering still can't be set to nearest neighbor.

(I've read somewhere that there's going to be a CSS property (of all things) for this, implemented in the "next major release after 3.5". Don't ask me where I read this, though, it's been weeks if not months)

Standards compliance :specialed:

I mean it's not like making up proprietary bullshit was the reason for all the sudden interest in lol standards.

This describes it. image-rendering:-moz-crisp-edges

Of course, it doesn't work yet, because it "applies to future versions of Firefox and Thunderbird".

Then again, the "auto" value of that property is described as "depends on the user agent". That makes it sound more like there's going to be a setting for quality/speed, or something.. bah, I don't know.

Xk: Yeah. Though this page says it's actually not really a CSS, but a SVG property, which Firefox is supposed to apply onto HTML elements as well, it's still.. kind of stupid.

*shrugs*

Working fine for me so far; no major lag, no real major changes (aside from the New Tab button) that I can see... it's perfectly functional.

Install MR Tech Toolbox then have it make everything compatible. Unless you're using some really wild extensions, it ought to work as a temporary fix until extension developers get around to bugfixing.

I'm getting that on a P4 system too.

I haven't tried this new version on it, though.
