Named because originally it was just the two of us; only later on a bunch of other people joined in and started working on it, so while the filename stayed shdm1, the level itself was named differently (though ironically I can't recall that name, but it shows up when the map loads)

I remember even pitching the watery area's idea.

I remember when they were just puddles of water that didn't really lead anywhere. Map definitely changed.

The open wall at the one end bothers me, though. Was there a purpose to that...?

Ah, I noticed... it's an invisible wall.

I'll have to poke you sometime to get help with creating maps. Indoors areas I'm really not sure about... and applying a texture to something also puzzles me. (My walls use different textures on each side )

[Y] + mousewheel. Helps if you click on the surface first, so the cursor doesn't wander. [0] (or was it [9]?) toggles allfaces, which controls whether just the selected face of a square or all 6 faces change to the texture.

Bloodstar told me about this. Though I have heard this from several modders from the T1 community as being as good as Quake 3 / UT. So I will be playing this sometime this weekend.

I'll talk to bloodstar about the servers and such. But just in case. What server?

I can usually run a sauerbraten server fairly well when I'm online, and I don't thinkwe get many lag issues with it.

Of course, that won't work until I get my new laptop, but it's something to look forward to, right?

Yeah, sounds good... but would you use a redirect or something?

I guess my own server was lagless for me because I could jsut connect to 127.0.0.1... Higsby suffered 25000 ping with me, last night... but I'm pretty sure it was his end there.

I also ended up having a few people play on my server. I got on for a moment to see how it was performing for them, but ended up kickbanned... so I just closed the server on them. Looking at the server window they seemed to ban plenty of people who came in,. actually...
