Still searching the island, the four kept their eyes open for more goodies... Lily noticed some flowering vines covering the side of a cliff. Taking a closer look, she noticed that one of the flowers looked somewhat different from the rest... Pulling the vines away in that spot, Lily found a small item with a flower marking on it embedded in the cliff. She pulled the small Flower Tab free from its rocky home, leaving the vines to fill in the hole where it was before. (OOC: A Flower Tab will raise your base FP by a little, just like using 1 AP would.) Fate, summoning Bardiche once again, gave herself a Braveheart boost. Eppy found yet another Tokay hut on the beach. Entering it, he found a Tokay sweeping sand around in circles in the hut with a broom... Tokay: Mmmm...I smell mushrooms! Do you have mushrooms? Coming closer to Eppy, the Tokay sniffed the air. Tokay: Brushing sand is fun, but eating mushrooms is more fun! I will give you this brush for 2 mushrooms! Elsewhere, X found a suspiciously thick clump of vines covering something on the cliffside. I've got increased defense, and I shouldn't waste it. She pulled her sniper rifle case again, but equipped her slingshot instead of the sniper rifle. She then looked around. Lily: Ah, there he is. She loaded the Flower Tab onto the slingshot, and fired it at X, essentially using the Flower Tab on X. Lily: There ya go, Ecksy. Hope you enjoy it. And now.. After putting away her items, she walked over to the Scent Tree.. Lily: .... Darnit! I forgot. I shouldn't waste my increased defense. Sigh.. The four seemed to have found the last of Maple's items... Eppy gave the overjoyed Tokay two of his Mushrooms in exchange for the slightly dusty Broom. Tokay: Yum yum! The Tokay began snacking on the Mushrooms as Eppy left the hut. He had a suspicion that that broom likely belonged to a certain black-clad witch... Fate wandered to the northwest coast of the island. Looking out on the sea, she saw a small object floating in the waves... Lily fired the Flower Tab at X with her slingshot. As it got close, the tab seemed to fade into a beam of light, which grew to surround X... it looked like it had some effect, but if it did, it wasn't obvious: X's FP didn't immediately go up any.... Still wandering the island, the four checked the last of its mysteries... X ignited the vines covering the cliff, burning them away to reveal a cave recessed in the cliff. Entering the cave, X found an area blocked off with large boulders... if only he had something that could blow them away... Eppy took a quick nap, recovering 4HP and 3FP. Lily stomped up the fury of a passing Octorok, which shot her for 4 damage. Fate and Bardiche made their way to the water's edge, where a bottle had drifted onto the shore. Inside the corked bottle was a note, written on a tattered sheet of paper. There were a lot of wet spots, where water had blotted the ink used to write it.... "I hope someone will read this... ...am living on an island far out to sea. There... ...people living here...... The village ... like a new home, but...would like... ...be able to go back home again..." They weren't sure what to make of it, or who had written it... there was no signature readable on the message. Fate read the message over and over again. It looked like one of those ones in a bottle type deals. She had absolute no clue what it might mean otherwise. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted another one of those monsters attack Lily. Fate: Bardiche! Bardiche: Sir. Fate: Use Photon Lancer! Bardiche failed to comply. Bardiche: . . . Can't use. Fate: What the fuck do you mean you can't use Hyper B... GAH!! Fate then proceeded to toss Bardiche away who disappeared in mid-air. Fate then figured out what the deal was when she felt very drained mentally. Maybe using all those spells was taking a toll on her. There wasn't going to be a way to help out if she was like this. She reached into to her inventory, rummaged around a bit, pulled out a Syrup and proceeded to down it. Fate: Mm...that's really good, actually. Fate felt a lot better for some reason afterwards. Had a fairly strong taste to it but it wasn't overbearing or anything. She got ready to charge up an attack to help out...if she got there in time. ____________________

	X eagerly awaited what was behind the mess of fire, only to be sorely disappointed at the rocks hidden behind them. He eyed Fate's Bomb for a few moments, but found she was a bit too busy in enjoying her Sryup. Alternative option exausted, he threw one last Superstrike at the mess of rocks in front of him. ____________________

Lily stumbled forward as her back was pelted by at by an Octorok. Lily: Gah! She quickly turned around and took a look at her assaulter. Lily: Another one of you? I'll have you know that I'm strong enough to consider you to totally be cannon fodder! As long as I've got SP, handy, eh heh. Wait a tick. I don't feel that defensive concentration protecting me! That means I need to finish this quickly! Lily clenched her fists before rushing at the Octorok. She then performed a sliding kick onto the Octorok, popping it up into the air. She then quickly got up to her feet and hunched over a bit. There was a sudden explosion of wind, kicking up sand everywhere, with Lily standing in the middle of it all. Lily: WA-CHAOW! The red headed lass leapt up into the air as the Octorok started to head back down to the earth. She delivered a Superstrike, giving the Octorok that had attacked her a Dragon Kick to the Milky Way! Lily: Wait a minute... We are in the Milky Way.. I'm not sure how that.. She did not bother keeping an eye out for a retaliation. Why should she? She sent the sucker into space. How could it possibly have enough health to come back down and attack her again? ____________________

Maple tapped her foot impatiently. What could be taking those four so long?... Fate downed a Syrup, recovering 10 FP. X threw a heavy Superstrike at the rocks blocking the cave. With a loud rumble, the rocks tumbled down, revealing a large treasure chest behind them... Opening the chest, X found a Piece of Heart! Lily's acrobatics culminated in a powerful Dragon Kick, sending the Octorok flying off into the air... JUDGES' SCORE: 18 (damage) PRIZE: 80 SP, 8 coins ----- Lily realized the power of Superstrike Lv.2! Superstrike Lv.2 - 5FP - Launch a stronger attack guaranteed to critical hit. ----- Suddenly, something fell from where the Octorok was launched into the sky... Four unknown objects fell onto the island, one near each of the adventurers. Looking down at them, they each realized that the fallen objects were Frog Coins! X collected his assuredly delicious (if upside-down) peach and the frog coin that had buried itself into the sand. The peach provided quite the question. Give it to the weakest character? Or use it on himself and be able to take even more attacks without falling...? Quite the tough question... He took a deep breath. Shrugging, he went back to collect the new seed batch. He'd deal with the peach later; there wasn't any impending reason to use it now, anyway. ____________________
