Well. I mean. Not to defend any potential actions he might have done but I do believe he was acquitted in 2005. Not to say he wasn't incredibly weird and eccentric, yeah. But I still have to respect him first and foremost as a musician, even if I didn't necessarily agree with his lifestyle choices one bit.

This hit me harder than it probably should have. Yesterday was quite depressing, indeed. I'm still feeling down about the whole thing.

And I personally never believed the pedo accusations. Coming from a family that's been devastated by pedophilia, you tend to pick up on these things. And having studied him for so long, it just wasn't there. But people will believe what they want, myself included.

He was a very important person in the world of music, and although quite a bit of drama did happen, It is sad to see someone like this died. We may never know the real truth, but we certainly can respect the music that he did leave behind.

You aren't the only one. I, personally, saw it as just a sort of scheme to ruin a successful and quite rich man. There are types of people who do those things, you know.
