It doesn't matter what you get, nothing beats my friend's level 69 Jarate!

...Speaking of jarate, I made this soundpack for Spy's jarate hit complaints, from Metal Gear Awesome. Even has lip syncing!

just put them in C://program files/Steam/steamapps/yourname/team fortress 2/tf/sound/vo. You may have to create a couple folders, but that's okay.

I tried a test install of Portal on my grandparents' computer (the only one I would be able to play on for the time being).

It ran somewhere between "molasses" and "very bad". 9 FPS on the title screen.

Turning all the settings down to minimum @ 640x480 gave 19.

Oh well.

Man, after yesterday's patch the Dead Ringer isn't utter trash anymore.

It's actually very good! (Still way too weak against Pyros though)

Try opening Portal (and letting it sit there) adn tell me what your FPS from that is.

map_background1 has been cut quite well (anything you can't see is more or less gone), yet..

Oh there was an update yesterday?

I still haven't got the Dead Ringer. I'd love to give it a shot at least one time because while the Cloak and Dagger is cool, it makes playing the spy slow and tedious.

It's all about the style of spy you're doing. If it's quick missions, then yes, the normal (or Dead Ringer) is best. If you're being more recon, letting your team know what's going on from the inside, it works better than the rest.
