| Here is the abbreviated version of my zombie plan, pm me if you want the whole WORD file.
My plan is to destroy the roof to my attic. Basically making sure that the floor is exposed to the sun and elements. I would line the floor and walls with Home Depot plastic and if in a pinch garbage bags to preserve the structual integrity of the home. Then I will haul up dirt and spread about a 2 foot deep layer of it and start to plant vegetables like corn tomatoes ect. Also Right at the beginning I would fill up All the containers in my house with clean water. There is no telling how long the fresh water will last. After that I will begin construction of a dry well in my basement. Since there is only one entrance to my upstairs I would rig the staircase to somehow collapse preventing further comprimisation of the home if the zombies break through. Also on all the walls on the ground floor will be fortified with sheet metal I will have stockpiled. The doors and windows would be replaced ect. And guns...lots of guns. But I would go shooting zombies because that may attract them to my area and I dont want that. Bullets are to be used as a last resort. For protection against the zombie virus(transmitted by bites) I would fashion a sharkskin suit(something like a diving suit) and don that on my occasional excursions outside the safety of my home. IT doesnt have to be metal or something like that, just something that you cant bite through. And for gods sake I will not try to leave the city. That is the worst thing you can do in a Zombie Apocalypse. Why? Well because everyone else will be leaving at the same time you do. And not only will the traffic be terrible but they will draw the zombies after them. Which by the way is a GOOD thing for you. The key is too lay low. NO heroics. And dont even bother running to the grocery store bbecause those will be picked clean immediately. I will be heading immediately to the hardware store to fortify my house. And it may also be a good idea to fortify your car too. The key to survival is YOU surviving. No one else is worth trying to RESCUE. So happy planning and dont forget to stockpile supplies!
