Okay well. I've already posted my desktop before (and it's almost identical) so you get to see my various VM desktops! I'm THAT bored.
I was going to post this in the desktops thread, but Xk flipped a coin in IRC and told me to make a new thread for it. So there. You get to stalk all (or almost all) my virtual machines!

DOS 6.22/GEM: I totally forgot I had this. (Virtual PC 2007)

Windows 3.1: Hey look, it's Jul! Opera 3.62 renders it pretty well for such an old browser. (Virtual PC 2007)

Windows 3.1 again: Different VM. This one is spiffed up with a lot of addon programs (hence 3D windows, Calmira, etc) but not much else. IE5 is sheer excellence. (Virtual PC 2007)

Windows 95: I wish I could get Internet on this. TCP/IP is screwed up for some reason, no idea how to fix it. (Virtual PC 2004)

Windows 98 FE: Not much here really. I mostly just downloaded and installed this for memories from my first computer. That's also why I have Office 97 on it. You get to see Clippy! (Virtual PC 2007)

Windows 98 SE: I rarely use this one. I used it to play Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 though, and back when I first made the VM, I used it to try out various unofficial Win98 enhancement/compatibility upgrades because I was bored (here if you're interested) (VMWare 6.5)

Windows XP (1): One of my oldest. Really trashed - it's had FlyakiteOSX installed, various other enhancement programs, and I also use it to test out keygens/cracks to make sure they won't fuck up my main computer. Sorry for the JPG quality, it was 900kb as a PNG due to the background. (VMWare 6.5)

Windows XP (2): This one started out life when I wanted to mess with a pirated version of WindowBlinds and Object Desktop and a few other things and see just how much I could make it look like Vista - hence the VM name "XPWBtest". Now it's just used for playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 (Because it doesn't work on my Windows 98 VM with RCT1) (VMWare 6.5)

Windows Vista: No screenshot. It takes up to 5 minutes to boot (and sometimes doesn't work) and slows down every single thing on my computer (including itself), while a VM with XP, 7 or OS X runs smoothly. Says something about Vista doesn't it? (VMWare 6.5)

Windows 7 Beta: Well, it's not the official public beta, it's build 6801, but close enough. I love how even with the Superbar it still has Quick Launch. (VMWare 6.5)

Windows 7 RC1: is pretty much all I can say. Can't wait until I can put the final Win7 on my real computer. (VMWare 6.5)

Mac OS X Leopard: Surprised this one still worked. It's REALLY screwed up - rebooting completely messes it up; I have to keep a saved state of it running all the time. I wish I could use Path Finder on Windows; it's the best file manager I've ever used. (JPG again) (VMWare 6.5)

Only ones not listed were just generic crap that barely even works (random DOS tests, OS/2, broken OS X Tiger, etc).

Anyway, this was supposed to be just for my own at first, but I made it into a full thread. Yes, I feel like stalking your non-real PCs too, so post them.

Fixed it earlier, I'm stupid.

And yes, I do. I have others (mostly various Linux variants) but I didn't post them because I was just lazy.

I don't run VM but the best 'fake Windows' I have would be...

That.

I do my best to keep my virtual XP identical to the real thing on my PC. Just with a ridiculously huge screen.

How do you have space for all those VMs, Treeki? My laptop is almost full with just two. (Tried Windows 7 beta but laptop didn't like it.)

I already posted a screenshot of VM-chan before... I'm trying to keep in mostly clean (only the basics) so that I can actually put it to good use for other things

Peardian: Probably lots of free space, I'd guess. 250 GB of space can go a long way; an average VM is probably 5 GB, and considering I've gotten by with about 75 GB over the past few years should be a hint

My VMs are actually quite small.

98 is about 1-2GB, and all my Linux ones are about 500MB or less (about two or three of these). The DOS 6.22 one is 384MB, which I have no idea why I chose.

Small HD sizes, especially for the older OSes. Some of them are pretty oversized though... I have a 500GB hard drive, but I've also got almost 80gb in photos, almost 100gb in torrents, and a lot of other crap which takes up a lot of space.

I had a custom XP installer with that in it! It had SP3 pre-installed and the Vista Transformation Pack was slipstreamed in.

Personally, I haven't been using VirtualBox lately, but the last install I had was the Windows 7 beta, which I had a screenshot of but have since lost.
