I wish I could, but problem is there can only be two layers and the second layer is made transparent with additive color ("screen"). Otherwise, I'd have some really cool backgrounds.

Techno Core
A high-tech core with all the latest bells and whistles. The four radar-like attachments assault the player with the newest weapons while healing units orbit the core. However, it does not give up easily, and will resort to some more classic methods when it gets weak. To fully appreciate it, try reaching the second phase with only one dish destroyed, then sit back and watch for a bit.

'nother update. Seems like updates are getting more frequent.

The new part this time is the Barriers. They block all player shots from both inside and outside, but do no damage and do not prevent the player from passing.

Seems like there's all sorts of fun things that can be done with them...

Yeah, the barriers are pretty nifty. You can even control the arclength via extra parameters.

Clockwork
This monstrosity becomes indestructible when its gears are fully wound up. Hit it hard and fast, or you'll have to avoid it for a while until it winds down. Needs latest version.

Actually, sorry, my mistake, the part rotation thing is not for parent/whole, it's for tail movement! The higher the value, the more it waggles when it swivels. The higher the value on the side, the stiffer the wiggle.Really cool. :3

Go Go Gadget Super Bump!

To start things off, there's been a few updates, including a beta update that I haven't even tested out yet. There are new searchlight and missile launcher parts, which my new bosses will make good use of. Shields now last as long as they used to, except damage to the shield uses up its time faster. There is also now a Danmaku Mode, and I'm sure you already know very well what that means. You can now even make it so that enemy parts are attached to the position of the player, another feature I made plenty use of. In the beta update, there are apparently five new effectors, which can cause the screen to flash or vibrate, as well as a simple booster effect. There are also 24 more decorative pieces. There seem to be many more features added, but I haven't tried it out yet. You can try reading the translation of the update if you want to know more.

New ships time! Note that for all of these, you will need v20090204d.



Rolling Rain
Wait, that's not rain, that's a wave of missiles!


Dark Claws
Not much to say. It has missile fingers!

Mania Missile
What could be better than a missile that explodes into missiles?


Rolling Beacon
This little thing is lit up with spotlights. Move into one, and you're toast.


Lumigrip
This monstrosity patrols the area for intruders. If it sees you, you're in for a world of hurt.


Cheap Bit
A ship so weak that it relies on a super cheap strategy to win. Can you kill it in time?


Bubble Bit
A bit core that shoots bubbles. It has also trapped you in one!


Shadow Bit
This ship uses strange technology to project a shadow ship that follows you around. It is impossible to kill. Can you avoid death long enough to find the projector?


Seeker Worm
This large ship chases after you with a large array of missile launchers. Do your best!


Zeta mk VI
Last but certainly not least, the latest in the Zeta series. Cheap defensive gimmicks have been replaced with raw offensive power. All of its weapons let out a constant stream of projectiles. Rumor has it that the mk VII will be the strongest yet when it comes out.

Bump! I've got good news and some slightly bad news. Good news is, there have been several updates! Hooray! Lots of new features, including a handful of new player weapons, and the ability to choose/customize your player ship and HUD. Because of this, I remade my Arwing Players Ship, complete with appropriate HUD! The bad news is that this is a beta version, so there are some bugs, and also they released yet another update last night that changes the structure of the images and makes my brand new HUD obsolete. Whoops!

Anyway, here are my newest ships and my Arwing ship. I've created an updated player ship that works with the latest version, but lacks the custom HUD/weapons as they were changed dramatically. I'll post them as well when I figure out the confusing custom interface system.

A ship too awesome for a picture. This baby packs a laser so massive it could tear timespace a new one. Just don't touch it.


Neon Mothership
A ship inspired by a WIP song by my awesome friend Zephyra. The glowing was simulated for the image, but it really does glow purple. Rather simple once you get past all the weapons.

Gli Amanti. Italian for "The Lovers". I'm making series of enemies based off of the Tarot cards.

It's a tad easy right now, since I never had a chance to screw with the new weaponry; I made this about a year ago or so, but I still enjoy it a lot. Its armor is very durable, so an Attacker-class ship will take it down faster, obviously.

Aqua, if you have any tips, pointers, or advice on how to make this boss a more challenging and fun experience, let me know. Or if you even want to take a whack at fixing some of it up yourself (or anyone, for that matter), feel free, and let me know what you did to change it.

To start out, I like this boss. I haven't seen a boss where you have to destroy lots of parts in ages.
I find it challenging yet fun, which is good. It just needs to slow down on the spinning a wee bit.
Other than that, it's a pretty good boss.

Sorry for the double post, but I created yet another boss I want to show all of you.
Introducing Specter's Airship! (I was inspired by Ape Escape this time around.)


(Again, sorry for the small picture.)

So I felt like recreating a video game boss in Fraxy, and I just happened to come across an Ape Escape video. This is the end result, and I tried to catch the spirit of the original battle. Although the lasers were not in the original fight, I felt as if they would present a slightly more challenging fight.
