Do you get them? Are you addicted to caffeine?

I was unknowingly living off of it for quite a while, and had never realized my headaches came from a lack of caffeine until recently. With that in mind, I resolved to cut it down to almost nothing, since if it requires 10 bazillion bits of it just to work, then I may as well not have it.

Despite the hideous burning sensation this is causing on my head, I feel somewhat better already. At least, I was getting sick of my heart palpitating, getting jittery and nervous over nothing, and overloading my brain with too much input at once.

Still, I'm thinking one coffee drink/Dr. Pepper a day should be fine, once I wait a day or two for whatever remaining burning sensation to die and my body to readjust to not having it.

I have a pretty bad caffeine addicition (i.e. couple cans of whichever carbonated beverage I feel like, along with a potential coffee). Not sure I've ever really gotten one of these headaches, although I may have gotten it and not noticed. Something tells me I may have built up an immunity .. which is slightly sad .

I don't drink coffee much (maybe once in a blue moon) but I do tend to have a soda or something once a day.

Caffeine headaches? Don't get em.

I only get headaches like that if I drink nothing but Soda and work / play outside all day. Basically I don't know if it is dehydration headaches or if it is caffeine.

I don't drink a lot of coffee. Mainly because my friend did and he had to go to the hospitol because there was a stone in his gallbladder. Dr said it was from too much coffee. So I don't drink a lot of it. Once a morning a day is fine for me.

And as for me being addicted to caffeine? Not really.

Definitely used to be, not so bad anymore but still bad enough where if I didn't drink some sort of caffeinated beverage I'd probably get a slight headache.

Usually been sticking to Iced Tea or Coke Zero (or Cherry Coke Zero) to get my fix though, no calories + caffeine = ftw.

I haven't had soda in a year and a half and I don't drink coffee, so I would have to say no, no I don't.

I hardly ever drink caffeinated pop or coffee, so no.

The only time that I ever got a caffeine headache (or even hangover for that matter ) was about 7 years ago when I had a sleep over with a friend and drank 6 cans of Coke and a full 2L bottle of Coke before finally crashing. The next morning I had a horrible headache and felt extremely sick, I was in bead for about the next 5 hours until I could finally stand up without falling over .

Fun times .

Shiny new layout!
----------------------------------------------------

Never -actually- had one, but I will admit that I have a slight addicition to caffeine. (okay, maybe not SLIGHT, but I mean if we run out of soda around the house it's not like I go insane or anything)

Actually, caffeine has cured a few headaches of mine occasionally >>

I don't recall ever getting one.

I get headaches, yeah, but those are usually from other stress factors. I haven't had a headache since I finished with exams.

If you drink more water than pop you should be fine. Carbonated/Caffeinated/Sugary Drinks cause dehydration.

(I've noticed my caffeine consumption has gone up since I started college, maybe I should consider this too...)

Yeah. For a while, my response to most stressful things was just another can of soda.

Like Soda Popinski, this allowed me to react to such situations, but mostly in an aggressive, aggravated fashion.

It didn't get any better when I would neglect my habit and then get soul-crushing headaches.

Now however, two-days in on no-caffiene, the headache has more or less vanished. I shall probably wait another day or two, then probably take it slow--one caffienated drink a day, rather than eighty five billion.

I never drink water and drink caffeine fairly regularly. I think the booze helps.

I have Caffeine Withdraw headaches. I'm addicted to Sundrop. For those who don't know What Sundrop is, you're probably not southern. For comparison, Mountain Dew is Sundrop's knockoff.

Yeah, the last time I went on a Skype binge, I had to drink constantly to prevent my mouth from drying out completely. Ugh.
