That's just as bad as when stores put huge price stickers over a game's CD case (or even worse when it's on a a cartridge label and you end up wrecking the label by trying to take the sticker off). When we people realize that tape and stickers leave marks on things

I hate it when that happens at stores. I've got a few things with stickers on them and I won't take them off because I know it'll make it worse.

I thought game stores here were bad but at least they don't stick crap on new games.

.. wait, don't they come with a plastic wrapper? I don't know about other consoles, but all my DS and Wii games come in one which I have to remove. If there was a sticker it'd go there.

New games here are usually plastic wrapped, I was referring more to used games. Sometimes I'll pay a few dollars more for the new game just so that I don't have to worry about the case getting wrecked by the sticker

Anything which has a hard plastic wrap (you know, the kind that you NEED to take a sharp pair of scissors to in order to get the precious contents out) can burn in a fire.

Never understood why you'd wrap something in a material that could CAUSE injury when you're trying to open it. I've never been cut by the plastic or anything, but it's pretty sharp.
