Firefox for me. I like the balance of speed and configurability. I might be convinced to change one day. Admittedly, the only browser I've tried besides FF and IE was Chrome, and that was the beta.

Firefox. Besides IE and Netscape ( ) I've never used anything else. IE is the devil and I try to avoid it at all possible. I'm happy with Firefox.

I'm using Firefox 3.0 right now, but I'm really starting to hate the terrible scrolling lag. I'm hoping it'll improve in 3.5, but if not I might be switching over to Opera 10.

Of course, fact of the matter is that all of today's browsers are so mundane. I ought to switch back to the Netscape 5 pre-alpha.

So it's not just my Beta Win7 Nvidia drivers. Thanks for clearing that up.

FF 3.

I've attempted to use Opera 10's alpha/betas but it's crashed more than FF ever has. If they fixed that I might re-consider. When it WAS working, it did perform well. Better than FF in a few aspects...but I'm looking for stability here too.

And obviously, you'd be dumb to use IE...I think anyone on here that knows a bit about comps will tell you that. Those that are attached to it over 'well, if it works, why change' need to really consider security options...not to mention being fickle about not changing over that principle, especially when your computer goes down to something like INTERNET ANTIVIRUS PRO -omg-. Not to mention that people have to write IE-specific code in order for their site to run because of poor-ass Acid3 scores (21/100 is -not- acceptable when most can rank 90s or 100)...so you're going to deal with plenty of sites that may bork over it.

AND FF has IETab...so any sites that say they require IE can take it up the ass with that add-on.

Opera, because Firefox is awkward and cumbersome.

Chrome, because the features just work for me.

IE8 too, at work.

Opera. Mostly because of the nifty tab saving feature, but also because of other nice gimmicks.

Internet Explorer 7. It functions perfectly fine for what I need it for, it doesn't take up a lot of my RAM, and I'm familiar with its interface. It runs better on this 2003 PC than Safari does on my laptop , even when being run in a virtual machine.

I use it and I am proud.

Opera. I only used IE when I didn't know any better, and immediately switched to Firefox when I did. I used firefox for about 2 years and loved it, but slowly a lot of things about it started to irk me. For example, I got addicted to certain add-ons, but installing them all again whenever I did a reformat was a pain, every add-on added unescessary bloat and slow-down, and I really hated how I had to constantly update them just about every time I started the browser.

I looked into Opera to see if I could configure it with all of the things I liked about Firefox. I could, so I switched, and have been happy ever since . Much faster, no crashes, less bloat, and no add-ons to manage and irritate me but still all of the benefits that I cared about. Plus I don't have to worry anymore about my add-ons suddenly not working just becasue I upgraded Firefox to a new version. I also think it looks better, both in UI and in page rendering.

I use Firefox because it has a wide variety of add-ons that I enjoy using while on the internet. I also find it much faster and easier to use than IE8 (Which I find way worse than IE7 ).

IE8 takes forever to start here. YMMV.

Heh. Decided I'd give Opera a try.

I'm already impressed with the speed, but I think I'm already missing the scroll lag and watching the page draw itself from top to bottom. I thought my neighbor's internet was just that crappy =/

Firefox. Because it's 64-bit and remembers my years of data.

I like Firefox, myself.

I do use Opera if I need something flash-enabled, though...

I actually have my suspicions that the scrolling lag might be due to the usage of an alphatransparent "autoscroll" marker (it was always like that for me, even in earlier versions). As I don't scroll "normally" very often I can't really assume anything ouside of that.

I actually use IE, Firefox, and Opera, if you can believe it. Opera is my main, Firefox is what I prefer if I can't install Opera, and I have no qualms with using IE (unlike pretty much everyone else here, it seems)...

Firefox. I've gotten used to it, it's stable for me, it rarely craps out on me with giant memory leaks...

I'm forced to use IE at work because two of our main programs run through it - and they're two of the only things you can access through IE thanks to the rigid security.

It does? Interesting.

I've actually declined the automatic update offer to upgrade to IE8, because I figure it's still too early.

So did IE6 and IE7, but to a slightly lesser extent.
