IAP was added to Microsoft Windows' MSRT (malicious software removal tool) in the last update. I would strongly suggest you get this if you're not too keen on keeping up with things of this nature, because this has been the number one thing to plague my phone calls for the last year or more.

Actually...running Windows Update might solve a good amount of your problem for prevention.
