I'ma pick and choose a part to this...

...They then separated the results for excessive gamers from the casual or non-gamers, defining excessive as those who spend more than 7 hours a week playing computer games or using the internet...

If I was back in Illinois I would say 'HOLY DUMB FUCK' to that being anywhere close to excessive.

But these people REALLY hate staying indoors around here.

Whatever their hobby is, I bet they spend more than one hour a day doing it.

Especially if that's what these pointless studies are. They're good time-wasters, I've heard.

Mother Nature, mostly.

And yes...some much, much longer than your typical 'gamer' who is 'obsessed'. Some of these people I hear end up leaving for weeks or months at a time.

Fun fact: If their limit is 7 hours/week, that means my grandparents are aparrently hardcore gamers!

Hoyle Card Games is aparrently hard core now.

It's rare for me to play less than that in one day. As soon as I get home from school I usually start playing video games and go on the computer until I eventually go to sleep .

After reading the title of the article I didn't think that the experiment could get any stupider although apparently I was wrong .
