Like auto work, I avoid doctors unless I need them to do something I can't do myself. I haven't been to the doctor since... um... I think it was when I broke my arm in sixth grade. All too often, doctors say "Well, we have these expensive medications to treat your individual symptoms, and I get all sorts of money for getting you to buy them!" when your collection of symptoms may very well be indicative of a more serious condition.

	That's essentially how I sit on things that I have decent knowledge in; I'd rather rely on myself. But it gets to the point where you really can't do that with the medical profession so much...at least at end-of-life or when you get to the point where you can't do it yourself for whatever reason. ____________________
