Doubt it...not enough horsepower underneath to pull something like that, I think.

Or if you can, it'd be very slowly...at least until someone figures out how to access all cores of the thing.

As I said before it would be funny if this actually happens so soon after I bought mine (although even if I knew this price drop was coming I probably still would of bought a PS3 before Cross Edge came out).

I don't see how they can drop the price though if they're already losing $40 per sale .

You know, for everyone that complains about backwards compatibility for the PS2 being taken out, it wasn't even that good when the PS3 had it in. :\

Besides, I still don't get what the problem is if you had a PS2 to begin with...unless you were cheap enough to sell your previous console. I tend not to do that. I still hate the fact I let my NES slide out of my fingers way back in the day.

I collect consoles and games so I never trade anything into the store to get money to buy something new.

And I also don't understand why it's such a big deal that the PS3 no longer has backwards compatibility. I have my PS2 hooked up to the exact same TV as my PS3 so it's effortless to switch from one to the other .

I mean it's not real big for me to push a button on my remote labeled 'Component' to get to my PS2 and 'HDMI' to get to my PS3.

Lack of cords? Switch?

I actually had a 5-way auto-switched before I moved the PS3 over to the new TV. Was bad-ass...especially for vidding stuff that was going to be posted on YT.

That said, I wanna get a particular thing in Cross Edge vidded.

When I worked at GS, the amount of people who would bitch about no backwards computability on the Ps3 was astonishing.
