I'm going to be getting my supplies this weekend so I don't have to worry about it later on (just in case).

I'm glad I don't live in Florida.

At the same time, I'm not too happy about getting backlash waves in Arkansas over crap that hits Louisiana.

I think the worst we had were remnants of a hurricane in 1999, if I remember correctly...?

I live in a particularly boring part of the world.

No hurricanes, no tornadoes, no earthquakes, no floods, no snowstorms... The only thing we might get is an occasional thunderstorm, but even those don't cause too many problems.

Similar here, but we get hundreds of earthquakes a year, just that most are really small.

It's like...if I'm gonna be hit by a nuclear blast, I want to die quickly and painlessly and not suffer an excruciating, dragged out death.

Seriously though, being on a floodplain in comparison to having excellent soil back up North is shit...it doesn't take much to get this ground saturated before roads flood. I've had the pleasure of driving through some very dangerous shit because of it.

I live in Georgia. So hurray for this kinda season. I actually like hurricanes. I take it no one has ever been to a hurricane party? If not, you sure are missing out. Basically it's a drinking party in the middle of a hurricane. Getting drunk in the middle of one is actually pretty cool.

As for right now. It is freaking raining like hell. So I can look forward to the cool / if not cool weather coming while I work. I welcome the rain with open arms.
