That's why it was a "beta"

No, it was an alpha.

This is a beta, not an Alpha.

As a side note, I've already managed to crash it once. Likey caused by Flash, no less.

Yes, THIS is a beta. What HE was talking about was an alpha release from an earlier time. (Unless you're lying. Alpha # what then?)

You can copy the Windows Native skin file from Opera 9 and use it in 10 perfectly fine.

New Opera 10 snapshot, native skin looks more "native" now, though a few things are still off (like the buttons for the info panel still retaining the Standard skin look.)

Opera hasn't crashed for me yet, oddly enough.

Granted, I haven't REALLY EXTENSIVELY used it, but it's my laptop and netbook browser. (I decided to give it a shot! whoa.) Done an okay amount of browsing on both... with flash installed.

The Opera 10 beta has crashed for me a handful of times, but that's after extensive amounts of browsing and after opening dozens upon dozens of tabs

It otherwise feels faster than the stable version.

But I want stability in a browser. :\

I think I'll wait til the final release comes out before I take it for another whirl. FF 3.5.x works fine for me at the moment...but I know how much speedier Opera was.

I guess it's also worth a mention that I fixed the scroll lag problem in FF. Turns out it wasn't a global FF problem, just on Jul. Changed from the Fragmentation theme and it worked dandy. Changed it back and LAAAG. So, I'm using the Mario Theme until that gets fixed or it stops. Shame, I really liked that theme.

More on topic, I was using Opera 10 beta 2 for a while, and it never crashed on me. Granted I don't like to have 300 tabs open at a time like some of you

Bumping this thread because Opera 10 final has been released.

You can download it from the usual spot. The redesign looks very nice in my opinion, though it may be slightly confusing. Also, the built-in automatic spell checker is epic win.

I dunno whether I love or hate the spell checker. Sure, it shows me whatever I need to fix, but then again, I look back and see how much I misspell..........sahfghsfdha

I've tried out Opera a while ago, but for some reason was too into Firefox to really convert. I'll have to try it out again for Opera 10.
