The official website seems to already be up: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ If you look closely at the art they have on the front page there, or watch the trailer closely enough, you'll notice the races appear to be the same as those from FFXI. Hume, Elvaan, Tarutaru, Mithra, and Galka. The Tarutaru only appears in the art, though, and the Galka from the trailer is apparently missing a tail.. Still, makes me wonder if this isn't a kind of XI sequel though.. Either it's set in the same world as XI, just during a different time period and on a different continent, or they're REALLY uncreative when it comes to races and decided to rehash XI's stuff out of laziness. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how much of a success or flop this one turns out to be.. ____________________
