A few months back, TechCrunch released a story saying that Last.fm released user data to the RIAA. This was refuted at the time, and considered to be bad reporting, etc.

Now another source has come out and says that it's true: it was leaked to the RIAA, but not directly. Last.fm released it to their parent company, CBS, who then released it to the RIAA.

Once again, it's TechCrunch breaking the story though.
