If I have to be throwing my arm around like some 6 year old with ADHD to play the game, like I had to do with Metroid Prime 3, I won't be happy.

Hey I had no problem with that system whatsoever...

Although I kinda hoped this was another Metroidvania but eh...it's been going in 3D strokes for a while so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Looks great to me, just a little worried about how the switching between 3rd and 1st person will work out. Still, this looks absolutely awesome.

Admittedly, I was kinda hoping for another Metroidvania style thing too, but if this turns out the way it looks like it's going to turn out, not having one is perfectly fine.

Cammie Dunaway surely wasn't kidding when she talked about surprises. At first I thought "oh, that's just another generic space kind of story". After I saw the Zero Suit, I was "hm that looked familiar" and then I saw the Power Suit and went "wait WHAT"

This game looks.. different. Of course, so is the concept of having actual deep story.

I'm still uncertain whether or not I like the third-person 3D gameplay, but I'm sure the game will rock anyway

I like the 3rd person idea. it allows for them to reincorporate upgrades that don't work as well from 1st person, like Space Jump and Speed Booster. Plus it looks like it's got a lot of 3D platforming too.

Or possibly, foreshadowing? We can't be sure. And besides, Samus had the Gravity Suit at that time, not the basic Power Suit, so it could even be an in-game boss battle.

I gotta say, this looks pretty awesome.
I've been getting used to having the series as an FPS, but I love the Metroid IP as a whole, so I'm good with a new direction.
Hoping the cutscenes are CG like most of the trailer.. :3
