Now this IS a world record for the 3DMark06 score, it is NOT a record for clock speed. AMD currently has that with 7.1GHz on the same Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition setup. (This doesn't count the 8.1GHz Intel Cedar overclock, however, since the 7.1GHz x 4 would be greater overall anyways)

Course, it's operating at about 40 Kelvin as well...

Well, provided it doesn't suffer from the cold bug...of which some processors do under about 70K or so.
