Your handwriting kind of reminds me of the font they use in The Simpsons...

I was actually thinking of doing this today, too. Need to find a decent TTF maker, though.

I can personally see this font being used in journals. Fantastic job. I might use this in a couple of things I have been writing. Not in Wordpad, I am using Fireworks CS3 to create like a picture showing notes, etc.

Yep, it is small at the moment. To be honest, I am very unhappy with the render, particularly at larger sizes. My next attempt should resolve this... I hope.

I guess just try to write where you can fill three vertical lines on a standard piece of paper then allow for resizing to smaller levels with blur. Would that help with the size issue? Actually don't have any experience making fonts, so if it's harder than that...

It's more that... it didn't render the shapes very well. I mean, you can use the font at any size, but as you use it bigger it gets... crunchier. I am now working on it in fontforge.

I'm slowly smoothing and refining the lines. Top is before, bottom is after. I have to do it each character at a time and it takes about an hour for each one.

For stylistic choice, you might consider putting a version out of the original, or rough, format. I could see the top being used in the case of 'old, yellowed scripture' or maybe 'crumpled piece o' paper'.

Just a thought.

I've done an update which is available for download. You should be able to use it at higher font sizes now. The bold font hasn't been fixed; it's taken me so long to fix just this one.
