So there's at least three different connectors, nine different types of cables, and it has nothing that makes it better than a dual-DVI connection*, S/PDIF, and ethernet.

On top of that, most people who don't know enough to set up the above system also won't know which HDMI cable to buy in order to replicate the above system and will either buy the most expensive (which will definitely be an absurd waste of money) or the cheapest (which won't do any of the above).

*And anyone who claims the extended color support makes it better either has unusually good eyes or is an idiot.

...I'll stick with what works, thank you very much.

But I don't have any new HDMI devices, so I need not new cables.
