What do you do?

Do you have any exercise-related goals?

I've been lifting steadily for 5 1/2 years. Sometimes I improved, sometimes I maintained, sometimes I tried a new routine. And there were a few months of rehab when my shoulders got owey in the bad way. For the past four months, I've been doing CrossFit, which just rocks. It has me working on exercises I'd never bothered with before, like Olympic lifts and rope jumping, and my lifts and bodyweight exercises are steadily improving. I finally did a bar dip to full depth (they used to make my chest hurt disconcertingly) and I recently did 50 chin-ups in 26 minutes. Before CrossFit, I could do that many over the course of a week's workouts. At a bodyweight of 155 pounds or so, I can deadlift 210 pounds, squat 150 below parallel, and bench press 115.

My long-term goal is to be able to do the CrossFit daily workouts as prescribed. I have to do the puppy or pack versions posted at Brand X. My more immediate goal is an unassisted muscle-up - a nifty move in which you pull up to and over something. It's similar to jumping up, grabbing the top of a wall, and pulling yourself up without using your legs.

My only way of excercise is DDR and PIU.

More likely I experience more pain from PIU.

I usually do a half-hour "run" at 3.5 mph every other day... The amount of sweat I produce is substantial, so that should help in weight-loss.

Nothing amazing or special, but it gets the job done.

DDR, cycling and swimming is what I am doing for exercise, but I get it back either cause of comfort eating over depression or I'm always fucking hungry (like, now)

I walk everywhere.

I don't really need a whole lot of exercise (my biological father's entire family has been tall and thin, and I appear to have inherited at least some of it - 6'2", 140 lbs), but I walk everywhere to save money and because of my blind eye keeping me from driving...

DDR, occasionally. Very occasionally.

I take occasional walks, too. Very occasional.

I'd like to be in better shape but I'm pretty thin despite the fact that most of the exercise I get is going down and up the stairs for another bag of chips and can of soda.

If I was in better shape I would totally have ninja battles with my friends who are in better shape.

Until then, I'll play Starcraft with them.

Actually I see it as a good thing. I weighed 60 lbs until I was in the 6th grade in which I gained only 10 pounds then. When high school started I weighed 90. When playing the games I think it added muscle that wasn't there, and muscle weighs more than fat so... yeah...
