This has become a bit of an annoyance--I want to edit my post in a thread I closed, but in order to do so I have to reopen it, then edit it.

If there is a possible way to make it possible to edit a thread no matter whether it is closed or not as long as it's under your authority (like, in a forum you mod) that'd be useful.

	If you go to Show Posts in your profile, it should let you edit the post from the closed thread. Unless the show posts thing got changed recently, It should work. Edit: I tested it on my post in a SM64 Forum thread you threw out recently. It still works. I'm not sure if it will work with a mod, because I'm not a mod, so I don't know if it is any different. ____________________

Actually, I think that's been an available option, slash-bug, for a while now and in older incarnations but was never fixed...

The way you've suggested should be done the way you want it and the method of editing in show posts with the trashed threads should be removed...it's just a little backwards at this time and I doubt it gets fixed any time soon.
