Here's that thread I mentioned. Might get some help in the support means of things. Hopefully, they don't give you too much of a run-around. But yea, this is exactly why I haven't taken the opportunity to purchase a 360 for this very reason. I'm not saying that the games on the console suck, they're on par with PS3 and there are a few I'd like to get a hold of, but this RRoD and E74 shit, among others, is what easily drives me away. I'm not spending 200-300+ bucks on something that's going to crap out on me. I will say that my original block PS2's laser was damaged when my sister pulled hard on it and managed to crash the console onto the floor, damaging both it and my FFX disc, irreparably. Needless to say, I bout damned near had a heart attack when that happened. PSX games would no longer play on it and PS2 games/DVDs would take their sweet time loading. I eventually got a slim-line to replace it but it was pretty sad not being able to play PS2 blue discs (CDs) for a long time. This is the same girl that took my FF7 Disc 1 and thought she saw something on it when she was playing it and used the carpet to clean it off, destroying the disc. She should've been killed right then for it. Aside from that, never had console issues aside from RF adaptors and old style NES 'Blow Me' issues. ____________________

	You still have friends to play PS3/N Games on right? I could be one of them. And I know how you feel. My old PS2 got the Disc read error back in the day and I was out of a console for a full year. Saved up money, got a crappy summer job washing dishes, and bought me a slim PS2 with a couple of games. Now I have my PS3. My friend's Xbox crashed on it and that is the main reason I am not buying it.

	If it's 2.76, that came out a week or two back. And yea it is supposed to be pretty wet in the Southeast over the next three days or so. I'd have something to do, at least. I've got PS2 and PS3 games that are slated for my attention (Devil Summoner 2 and next week CROSS EDGE come to mind). ____________________
