I mean, Michael Jackson needs no explanation. He -might- have done some bad things. But his music back in the day was awesome. At least to me it was. Am I the only one who likes this stuff?

Bad and Thriller were both albums that were awesome in their heyday. Dangerous was probably the last good album before OMG PEDOPHILIA came in and tore his career to shreds.

It's not too terrible of a version, I'll admit that, but they use it in the context of 'oh this is the best song' without comparison of the original because they don't know of the original or 'this is the way you sing it' because of MJ and his history in the 90s or because it sounds 'omg like everything else that's considered awesome' in Alternative today...

Very little grabs my attention for vocal music anymore...most of them pull from older generations as it is because no one can make music worth a damn. That said...instrumental and whatever revolves around that in the broadest sense has more of my attention anymore than does anything.

I'll second the instrumental music thing. I'm not a huge fan of lyrical music anymore. I prefer instrumental stuff because I can have it running in the background without having words interfere with other stuff I'm doing.

I personally like the Genesis games. I don't know why. I mean the gameplay was terrible. But I just loved it as a kid.

This game and Toejam and Earl. Both combined were my early Genesis childhood (Echo the Dolphin was my second game after this. Which was also bad ass)
