My reaction was not like that. It was more of "oh hey this is cool" and then I didn't really get super into it. I could probably play again sometime but I'm not addicted by far.

My first reaction was: "What the hell have you gotten me into"?

Then again I am certain I played the kiddy version. Imperishable night? I believe it was called. It was challenging at best, and I had a blast playing it. But I would much rather play THIS one.

Imperishable Night isn't Kiddy to some people. Subterranean Animism is teh HELL one, and the only one from 4 on that I have never beat on Normal mode.

Subterranean Animism is the best in the series thus far IMO. Great music, awesome patterns, and probably my favorite characters all around.

I don't even go beyond Normal on these games. I just like shooting things with dodging bullets from the bosses, not dodging bullets and nothing but.

It really pains me to say that I had (minor) problems with Flandre, yet I cannot even beat Eirin on this one (on Normal). Not to mention I can barely reach stage 3 in S.A.

Even harder if you don't use border team, making Scarlet Devil team Supah hardo mode.

Except Magic team is hard to play with.

Essentially, Border team is the easiest except for the fact you go against Marisa.

And it's hard on Lunatic. Oh, and if you die, good luck getting enough time to make it to Kaguya.

Mushihimesama Futari. It's to be ported to the Japanese XBOX 360 some time soon. Emulation is, currently, not possible (believe me, I've looked it up). Other Cave titles such as Dodonpachi, however, do work with MAME.

Besides, that isn't even a good run. Purely amateur. Observe...a master:
