I recently discovered this group, especially since I only recently registered with Facebook.

Only this year (or mid 2008) Vigilant Entertainment became a legal company. It has been as long as four going on five years since the project was started.

As discussed through various news articles and forum posts, the project was canceled in pursue of a greater cause.

The Journeyman Project is a license or symbol of a great series which, in great thought, should only be touched and manipulated with careful hands. As the original Project Lead of the ever changing face of the Journeyman Chronicles, I wanted to allow my studio to build up its street cred/product catalogue before we give another jab at recreating the game series.

Who knows, if all goes well and the company receives financial stability, we may set up some discussion with the original developers about a possible collaboration. (No, we haven't discussed anything with the developers yet. So we are still in limbo as of now.)

Again, nothing is set in stone right now.
