My internet's screwed as well. It almost seems like there's water getting in somewhere and short-circuiting something, because our DSL connection gets really awful wth dropping out during the rain. ____________________

Some BrightHouse guy actually came to our house a little while ago and gave us a brand new router.

The other day, our phone had stopped working, yet TV and internet were fine.

Parts are in.

Setbacks are present.

First, the mobo is made in such a fashion that the new vid card gets in the way of SATA1 and SATA3. A single right-angled SATA cable was sent to alleviate that. I need another.

Second, the graphics card didn't come with any graphics drivers. I need to get them online.

Third, the graphics card did not come with a single DVI to VGA converter. This is the setback that is driving me nuts; I can't find a block at the office and I need it to run my second VGA-based monitor for dual-screens.

Pissed am I.

My connection used to be the shits, but for the past year or so it has been *furiously knocks on wood* perfect. Never gives me trouble. I enjoy it very much!
