E ^^^ If this image is non-hosted. Let me know. It's just a picture of Mario

No, not that kinda plumber. I got me a job as a apprentice plumber / Jobman. Which is freakin' GOOD money.

I was in and out of a job for the longest time until I found me a job working as an apprentice. Which it runs in the family to work on houses and stuff. But this is strictly plumbing. Pretty much hard work.

There are days I have to deal with septic tanks, under houses, and so on. Usually if I have to do this an extra healthcare pay comes in. Meaning more money in my pocket. I get Insurance, benefits, and so on.

Plus my boss is awesome. Very nice guy too.

As for pay. I am sure I get paid above manual labor. So I am not totally sure. Better money than what I normally do. But he really wants me to stick around and he really enjoyed me being there. He never had a helper before, and after today, he told me we knocked out more houses than what he normally does. Which means more profits, and more money in my pocket. I am so glad I got this job.

Overall, I absolutely loved it. I mean it is some fucking hard work. But I am not complaining. I love working out and I am pretty built for my age. Even my boss was surprised. Heh.

So where do you work at? Do you enjoy doing what you do?

Since the last time I posted about my place of work I have made my way over to the pizza station. So I'm there two days of the week, making up whatever type of pizza that I feel like. Of course most of the customers would rather have cheese and/or pepperoni pizza. So during the other three days I'm in the pantry/salad/sandwich station (which is seafood and sushi on Sundays). So yea, I'm a cook.

E- ^^^^ Yeah I have a friend who works at Dominoes Pizza. He always calls me up whenever he is delivering pizza and annoys the living shit out of me. Either that or he calls at a bad time. But hey, I can fix me some good pizza time to time. Like literally make my own home made pizza. Have you ever heard of Mellow Mushroom? That place makes some bad ass pizza. Like one slice is like a fucking meal. Down here it's like 3 dollars a slice. My GOD it is good.

Another funny thing is my speech problem.

I have a horrible stuttering problem. I mean some days it's fine. But other days it is horrible. I can never say my S's, M's, and N's. Sometime I repeat my words and I can not help it. Well, my boss' wife has a stuttering problem, and he told me not to worry about it. You have no clue on how relieved I was when I found out about this. Cause this is the one thing I am ashamed of when I go look for a job.

Never had a problem getting into a job with the problem before. But you know.

I work for a university as a salaried web-developer. Nothing too exciting but it pays and I get cheap school because of it ($3/credit hour). Definitely not what I want to be doing the rest of my life but it's great for now.

Is this work-study? Because I was going to do this until I found out that my friend was being deployed during the semester I was going to apply for. (Community College)

Those people aren't pizza eaters. No real pizza eater orders just pepperoni or just cheese.

A pizza eater orders the works.

Course, if I'm trying to go light...chicken, tomatoes and onions works fine in a pinch.

Nope, I'm actually a full-time "Software Development Associate" soon to be a "Software Development Specialist". Working 40 hour work weeks and taking classes at the same time. Basically, I started working there as a student "content updater", they realized I was being way under utilized and after a full blown job search to hire another full timer they just offered it to me since everyone they interviewed they just compared to me and they fell up short. Been full time for 2 years now, still have 6 credits of work to finish my undergraduate work.

Work study would of actually been less beneficial for me, I wouldn't have gotten the $3 dollar credit hours, I would of been capped at $10 an hour, and I would of been required to work 20 hours or less a week if I remember right.

I'm a lazy bum who can't be arsed to find a job.

Nah, just haven't found a good job yet. My father is a plumber too though, so I help him out sometimes.

No job yet, though I may try and get one later in the summer, though I find that unlikely with the job market as it is.

Also, I hear that plumbers get paid LOTS of money so you could have a very well paying job a few years down the line if you keep with it.

Mostly just waitressing to keep a little extra money around . . . I used to work crazy hours back north and get paid under the table. I'd love to be able to get a job cooking but my schedule wouldn't allow it and no one seems to want to hire me anyway (I'd imagine its the age, I don't know) ... maybe I'll find more work this summer to keep me busy.

Unemployed Schoolbum. It would be a bad idea to get a job right as I'm about to transfer... I will have one, or have to have one at least, once I have transferred though.

This is true, but being an apprentice, I only get paid by the hour. Starting out that is.

Today we knocked out two water heaters. One Gas (Sucked) and one Electric (Not bad). I can guarantee if I was not there he would still be working on the gas one. Prolly finishing it up right now. The gas one took so long because the heater was not put in at the right side of the house. Being that the heater is 22" across and the room was freaking 22". This posed as a problem. So I had to bear that sonbitch inside that room to replace the old one. It was fucking HOT as well, so that did not make my man job any easier.

What was funny is that the heater costs $500, service charge was $2,200. And we compare prices!

I work for Capital One's Fraud department on the manual review team. Basically we analyze accounts and see if there's any ID concerns, then we call people to verify charges and shut down plastics if need be.

It's actually more relaxing than you'd think. Helps that I've made some good buddies over there and I'm one of the top agents.

(Of course, at some point I'll have to move on and I realize that, but I'm definitely not hurting for cash. No no.)

Or drive.

Those are chief expenses for most adults. :\

Give you an idea of the computers I work on...got it finalized and hooked up this morning.

I should be able to launch nuclear armaments soon. The building it up and wiring's the most mundane part.
