I have to agree with you, Anya. The animated bright red coins stick out far too much compared to your rather darkly colored layout. If you must keep them, I'd suggest at least removing the animation so they wouldn't be so distracting.

Other than that, it's fine. That is, except for This, of course. It should be your top priority to correct that immediately, as it stands out even more than those coins for somebody as picky as myself.

That was my reaction too. That, along with "they keep spinning and spinning" [/SMRPG]
They are kind of cute though. Maybe if they were smaller they wouldn't be so distracting? Or perhaps if they were right aligned?

Remove spinning coins. Add in tiled background to where it gets those black corner edges filled.

After that, it'd be okay for a simple layout.

	I updated my layout. I'm going to get rid of the coins. Not only because several people dislike it, the other reason was because it gave me a massive headache last night. 	Thank you for informing me. I figured out the problems really fast, so it didn't take long to fix it. I need to find somthing to put in the signature, so it won't look as bad. Yeah, I failed to point out that the issue I was talking about at the end of my post was a problem with the way quotes are displayed. It looks like I should have been more specific...

Anyway, it's even Worse now, so you should get right on that. As soon as you fix it, it'll look quite good.

Well...a good majority of it you could've simplified down to something much easier.

A couple DIVs, one inside another, would've sufficed. Just adding on minimal details would've been good enough...you put in a gigantic amount. The board will usually compensate for the rest.

Regardless, it works now.

There was an option to manually edit it after you're done and see results of your changes as you go, the trouble is that you have to save a layout before you can manually edit it, and my web host's web based file manager screwed up and deleted my entire cgi-bin, so now when you try to save it will just give a 404.

Anyway, among the many problems with it was that is had the option of putting an image in the box that contains the text of your post, to allow text to flow around it, it set it to float to the left. The trouble with that is that this caused quotes to overlap it. To fix that I set the display mode on quotes to table, which worked at the time, but apparently the proper way to render a blockquote displayed as a table is to have it stick out of its container, and rendering engines have gotten more compliant, so now, they all render them like that.

Anyway, basically, it really shouldn't be used, and I'm going to go remove it now. One day I'll get around to making a better one.
