I would surmise it'd be late 2010 or 2011 by the time it hits here.

For that, you could just go and grab CROSS EDGE...as that's due out in a couple of weeks...

Idea Factory will publish Trinity Universe in Japan this August. A release date has not been announced in North America, but NIS America is presenting a 3D PS3 game tomorrow so…

If it's coming out this August, then... very late this year/early next year? Wouldn't go so far as to say late 2010.

Plus if THAT'S the game NIS is showing tomorrow, it's on the way.

Mm...that's what's got me interested. Some SORT of 3D game that NIS is showing is due for announce tomorrow and I've not got any clues as to what.

Here's my problem with this and even Cross Edge though...it's got Idea Factory behind it.

If this doesn't make you remember anything...try Chaos Wars. The localization blew but the system itself was weak as hell anyways. I still haven't beaten it (though I did get an okay ways into it). The English dubbing will forever be burned into my skull as what not to do if you're ever given the ability to do so. I think I still die a bit every time I remember.

The kicker, however, is that Gust and NIS are involved. Those are two great great GREAT great companies...for them to allow anything shit would be a bad mark on them. Gust, in particular (though heavily underrated outside of a few bad ports or attempts). But even still...they've had room for error...

Yeah, but Cross Edge was Compile Heart, no? At least if you play the game and find out that NIS nailed the translation/localization and there's no bugs, yet the game itself isn't so hot... they're not the developers.

Amazon has Cross Edge listed for May 26, by the way.
