Seems they're against BREIN.

They're picking off sites one by one now. Not to mention that this filtering mechanism could prove fatal for Pirate Bay's logic if it helps the entertainment industry with results of torrenting material being sieved. :\

The filtering system will allow a third-party to select to block any files deemed as infringing copyright. That third party is independent of both Mininova and the entertainment industry as far as we know, but the identity remains a secret.

Please, don't even bother. It's one of the fucking entertainment industry's lackies, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it in the first place. After all, who would care enough to be doing this filter? Hint: Unless they're getting paid, nobody.

That's basically what I'm thinking...it's likely a ploy by the entertainment industry regardless. I mean it was proven that there was a hand to get a guilty verdict by the entertainment industry with the Pirate Bay case anyways...so obviously there'd be pressure on any site that gets shot at now to do the same or go through something like filtering right now...
