›› Guess I'll give you guys a heads up ahead of time. The double-arrow in front of text is my OOC. Any 'thinking' text I may write is enclosed in tildes (~). I usually write in script format...I don't there'll be much issues if everyone doesn't follow along with that but it might be good for clarity. Not going to go into too much depth this time around at the start so... Rain sighed. Why did she take a look at the mail again? Nothing good ever seemed to come of it. Getting dragged out of her house from a nice night to go with three total strangers into a castle that no one's ever returned from. What about this was a 'grand adventure'? Okay, maybe not 'dragged'. She was actually kind of interested as to what this whole ordeal might be. Get her away from doing things for a while. She just hoped that it wasn't asking for trouble that she couldn't handle... Bah. What was she worried about. This had to be child's play in comparison to some of THOSE times... Rain: Uhm...name's Rain. I guess I'm hear to make the party even but supposedly we're heading up to help some people out? She turned to everyone. Rain: Right? At least, that's what she heard. She sized up the crew. The obvious one sticking out being the rather sizable dragon that was with them. Rain: I still can't believe we've got a freaking dragon with us though... ____________________

I'm going to write up the actual, discrete, game commands at the very end of my posts, so look there for my moves. << The dragon takes a good look at his teammates as they finish signing in with what he assumes is the tower's keeper. Strangely, they're all female, which would make him the only male of the group. Hopefully, this fact won't hold any significance... it's enough that he's already gotten a couple of odd looks from his to-be companions. Of course, being a frightening beast doesn't help his cause much. He approaches the 'keeper' a little suspiciously, but without sensing any threat. He emits a deep, rumbling grunt at him. "English..." he thinks to himself. A language not native to his tongue, but if he is to succeed with his teammates, he's going to have to get used to it. ...for now. With a booming, thunderous voice, he addresses the 'keeper'; Drag: "Call me... Drag." Of course "Drag" wasn't his real name, but given that most non-dragon creatures would have difficulty pronouncing his actual name, he figures this would be easier for everyone. Turning to a new page, the young man began writing down the four adventurers' names. ???: Hmm... Miss Rain... Miss Teyla... Miss Shadowstar... and Mister Drag... I believe I've heard of you four before. And you're here to go on a rescue mission, you say? Hmhm... After finishing his entries on each of them, he began paging through his book, stopping at a page with a drawing of a tall tower that stretched into the clouds... upon close inspection, it could be easily seen that it was the same tower that they were standing in front of. ???: I trust that you four are prepared for what lies ahead of you... This tower is not always what it seems. I cannot say that your friends are all right, though they may well be... He motioned to the door. ???: Please proceed into the tower if you still wish to continue on. There is someone waiting for you inside... I believe she has made her way to the second floor at this time, so you should hurry upstairs. And turning back to his books, the man became silent once again. ... 1145 The dragon takes a good look around the interior of the tower, minding his new surroundings. The tower seemed to be built in a way that conveniently accomodates his considerably large stature. At least he won't be feeling cramped, even though he knows that it's not going to be the main thing to be concerned about. Surveying the sights, sounds, and scents around him, he lowers his snout to the floor and snuffs a bit, taking a few steps around to gain an idea as to what a neutral state in this environment would appear as. Failing to pick up anything else particularly noteworthy, he notices that the floor has several numbers that adorn it. He lifts his head again to glance around, noticing that he has stopped on the square labeled 14. >> MOVE to square 14. ____________________

Rain: Hmm. Fairly old look to this one. Actually, there were certain things that made her reminisce about a certain other tower she called home at one point. Minus the age and dust and lack of technology. This seemed fairly fifteenth century or something what with the way the whole dimly lit area looked and the torch motif. Almost like something you might expect out of a dungeon, if you weren't careful. Then again, that was probably what everyone just walked into...and judging by everyone but the big green animal that just walked in, neither of the other two seemed to have fairly large experience in the matter. In fact you might call them people that would constantly get beaten up. Or maybe even ones that would walk through trap floors. Or maybe get enraged about enemies attacking them constantly and without remorse. For some reason, this felt like it should remind her of something...but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. She dismissed the idea and went back to tending to the kids in front of her. Rain: ~Great. So I'm a babysitter now...this'll be fun.~ She shrugged. Things could be worse and she figured she may as well indulge herself. She hadn't had a huge means of doing anything as of late except wait for a director to move his ass with a scenario that would never be completely written. Hell, by the time she was done here it probably still wouldn't be finished. That said, she moved to square 8. ____________________

Starting to look around the first floor, the four cautiously scoped out a few of the squares. Teyla was the first one to look around, finding just 5 golden coins lying on the ground... Shadowstar followed closely behind Teyla. While she was checking the square she was on, she could feel the presence of something nearby... Looking around quickly, she noticed a Ghost hiding in the shadows. It hadn't made a move yet, but there was no telling when it would... Drag found another Mystery capsule like the ones he already had lying on the floor. Seemed to be an bow user, probably adept in some magic, she hoped, but wondered why in the world this person would attempt to use an arrow on a non-physical being. She began summoning up Salina's power, or a means to channel 'help' to this situation. That didn't go so well because Rain looked like she was holding a fist with nothing coming. Rain: ~Eh?~ Salina: ~Well...I think I felt...something...~ Rain: ~Must be this place. Must filter out power or something. That's not good.~ Rain thought once again. This was starting to give her a headache... Rain: ~Let's try something holy-based...see if we can do something in here.~ Salina: ~Roger!~ Indeed, Rain did feel something to tap into a few moments later. It felt...muffled...that was the best way she could describe it. A holy-infused energy attack should suffice but... ...when she charged the attack in her hands and aimed in front of her, she got a surprise. Rain: ~Uh...Salina.~ Salina: ~Yea?~ Rain: ~I thought I said holy-based.~ Salina: ~You did...~ Rain: ~So uh...why do I have a giant ball of fire in front of me? I didn't even know you could do that...~ That didn't take long to figure out after she said that. Oh man... Salina: ~That's how my power translates here I think...~ Rain groaned. Rain: Geez...I'm going to have to figure out everything from the ground up, aren't I? Why that didn't phase her further was anyone's guess. Maybe she was used to the idea from experience before? Rain: ~Okay okay...need a name need a name not some stupid untranslateable Japanese gibberish either uhmmmm...Salina?~ Salina: ~Okay...~ Rain was done with her thoughts and whatever else and aimed... 	Teyla was surprised at Rain, she hadn't taken that long to shoot anything during their fight, and she ddin't seem to be ready for that fireball either. At least that ghost was under control though. Teyla decided to check out square 9 before she traveled to it. Teyla: "Don't wanna run into one of those things myself." ____________________

1147 The dragon pauses for a bit, peering over at Rain and Shadowstar, watching them as they conjure fire to shoot at the apparition. He didn't know that humans were capable of such feats... maybe they're not human...? It would be something to ponder over for a later time, however. He doesn't sense any danger though, so the fact that the two would attack as a first response was something that puzzled him. It was almost fascinating. After a while, he returns attention to his own activities, finding that he had stumbled upon another capsule laying on the tile he occupied. Reaching his claw in front of him, he grasps it and adds it to his own possessions, hoping that it'll find its use later on. Carrying on with his explorations, he lowers his snout again and snuffs along the floor, leading his way towards the tile marked 18, between the next two pillars. >> MOVE to square 18 ____________________

Faced with a ghost, the group tried to dispel it with force... Shadowstar made the first move, firing an arrow at the Ghost. While it didn't stick to the spirit, it did seem to cause it some distress, as though it had taken damage... It seemed as though it had been hit for 2 damage points. Rain, after a bit of internal dialogue, fired a blast of Fire at the Ghost. The fireball hit the Ghost, startling it and dealing it 2 more damage... Teyla checked out a square across the floor from where Shadowstar and Rain were dealing with the Ghost. She found a strange creature standing there, looking around... it seemed to be a type of faerie, known as a Hobbit. It was wearing a strange cloak that covered most of its body... The Hobbit hadn't noticed Teyla, so it didn't make any moves towards her. Drag sniffed around on square 18, but didn't find anything of interest... The Ghost suddenly disappeared from where it was floating on the square... Looking around for it, Shadowstar was surprised when it materialized right in front of her! Rain: Owch. Bet that hurt. Rain surveyed the situation. First off, someone landing on their bum was always priceless. Second off, physical attacks worked on a ghost? What the...? Something was UP was this place... Regardless, that was better news for Rain anyways. She covered Shadowstar; gaining a running start, she pulled a disappearing act of her own, appearing a moment later in the air in front of the ghost in question. Her fist was charged with a white-hot energy. Rain: HaaaaAAAHH!! She then proceeded to lay down a single, energy-packed Superstrike on the Ghost in question, whipping her fist into it with the force of an atom bomb. (lie) ____________________
