Welp...my 45 dollar investement on a borked iPod that I didn't expect to survive a month let alone the two years it was worth took a shit this morning. No audio. It sounds like it's a common problem in 5th gens. I'd rather not go through customer service on that one because I technically didn't buy it outside of going to a pawn shop and fixing it up for what I had software-wise (I've never once opened it).

I'll probably just get a 120 gig on the way home tonight...but geezus shit that's 225 dollars of a hit. The only reason I'm even this forward about buying one of these things without so much as a second thought is because I NEED something in the car aside from radio you can pick up around here...

..I like how it gets more interesting as you go along. Right now I'm getting into the shit I've always wanted to learn; Meteorology, Cloud Physics, and the dynamics of the atmosphere and ocean.

And this autumn I'll be going to Svalbard to learn about Polar Meteorology and Polar Ocean Climate. Oh yeah!

It's still a lot to wrap your head around, though, but atleast it's mostly fun. Besides, I have learned to be a structured, as opposed to a sloppy, student... and that really helps a lot, too.

I have weird dreams all the time.

I remember one where I wiped cheese onto a napkin after getting a burger, then walking out and back in to pick up a friend... then someone tried to rob a Mexican restaurant while they had a whole orchestra play trumpets and tubas.

Only took about 18 straight hours to get rid of. No idea which ad it was that did it. I didn't realize I had spyware until after I closed the page.
