Panda Cloud Antivirus.

Although I'm not a big fan of Panda in the slightest, I am fairly interested in this method and the main reason for that is performance. The way it is proposed to work is that the file signatures aren't needed to be updated on your system, rather it works on a centralized network server and it also boasts around a 50% boost in performance because of the way it's made.

Although I like the idea I would wonder what would happen if you got people to take out that server that all that is based on by one hell of a hack. Something tells me that it could be very fragile if it's as server-based as I'm suspecting...

I like this idea, as long as it launches a backup protection in case the connection to server or similar fails.

I won't switch antivirus though, I'll just hope Avast copies them.

That's essentially the same mindset I'm sharing. I like the idea, I don't like the provider of the idea.

Nice idea, but how would this work if a virus breaks the internet connection?

It would not, then it would all go to shit.

THen your friendly neighborhood nerd whacks you with a stick and installs another antivirus.
