That's what they're shooting for.

I think it'll be all right, provided that the Internet stays as reliable a resource as it's becoming. Of course I've been hearing stories against that as well.

My guess is they're not going to immediately kill off the PSP as a device, though. Like the PSX ---> PS2 and the PS2 ---> PS3, they're going to keep the device up and going for probably the next three or so years to come and develop games for it but eventually wean their base onto the next platform.

The control setup looks like it's just dying for a second control stick. I mean there's a huge empty space where it would fit in perfectly . I probably won't get this (or at least not for a really long time anyway). The only reason that I even bought an original PSP was because I bought it off of a friend and it was modded .
