I don't have two weeks vacation until I hit the five year mark at this job. I'm still not even at two but that comes in July, which should be good for a week's worth.

Though I've absolutely no clue what I'm going to do with it unless I pull another 600 mile drive again.

I was eligible after one year. Took them last year in August and November.

I'm eligible for a month's worth after 5 years but I really don't think I'll be there that long. We actually transferred over a ton of people to Collections over the past few weeks because we're removing the main inbound queue of agents... but the fraud account specialist team and the outbound queue (that's me!) remain intact and will likely be expanding soon.

(Translation: The best people in the inbound queue go to one of those two sections, everyone else gets dumped in Collections. So technically it's NOT downsizing!)

Fuck I did that for a week that one time for collections for settlements and that's all I could muster.

Course that was also about six years ago.

OK. Fraud outbound is AWESOME for multiple reasons.

- Calling people to verify charges on their account.
- Most calls end up with me leaving a message or getting a blocked call/bad phone.
- We work at our own pace; metrics are based on how long you spend on a case, not how many cases you do.
- Our stats cream the other departments, both our site and the other sites.
- Leaves a lot of room to mess around, talk with friends, stretch, breathe, etc.
- No constant barrage of calls as with inbound.

Honestly, it's easy money. I'd like to be making MORE money, mind you, but it's still as "fun" as you can get.
