What we have here is a massive failure to communicate.

Oh no shit.

Plenty of people had to know about this fly-by including the people on the plane and the FAA.

They didn't even give a public announcement about it just to warn them...and they chose to pull it right over Ground Zero. Dumb. DUMB fucking move.

And why wouldn't they at least tell the fucking MAYOR about all this? Idiots.

Yea, but we saw how that turned out for Iran... . . . At least we might have some form of an excuse...

Well I knew people knew about it...

...but having it confirmed like this is all the more FUCKED up...

But it still doesn't make much sense...if they kept it a secret by themselves then that's WAY out of line for where any plane of Air Force One goes. It's fucking AFO for crying out loud... You get clearance for that stuff by many people a long time coming in advance. I really can't believe it's just PRIMARILY the FAA's doing alone for the clearance...someone had to know other than them to pull off a request for a photo op from the Affairs office in the White House outside of them and the mayoral aide mentioned here.

If not...we've REALLY got a problem with this administration.
