Question.

Can somebody who's purchased Orange Box tell me how much it cost including taxes?

Because I just tried to purchase it (since Steam's new system is awful IMO) and apparently, despite Orange Box costing $9.99 and my PayPal account having $10.39 USD in it, it is *not* letting me complete the purchase and it's really pissing me off.

"Your recipient requires instant payments. To pay instantly from your bank account, simply link a debit or credit card as a backup payment source. We'll charge this card only if your bank payment can't be processed."

"This transaction amount is greater than your available PayPal balance."

Both of these statements are absolute BS and I need a solution ASAP.

Yes I do.

But here's the problem - I've purchased from Steam before and it does let you pull money directly from your PayPal balance. Companies have different rules, however; I've seen some which pull an e-Check from your bank account and some that require a credit card as backup if they can't pull the funds from the bank.

I can easily transfer funds - if by "easily" you mean "6-8 days".

I just bought it. Luckily, since I had TF2 downloaded from when I was using Tanks' alt account, I don't have to reinstall it. It took me two days, $16 and 8 hours in a Starbucks to get it and I'm not doing that again.

(Read: slow campus connection)
