Yep.
The DVD copy usually needs to download a ton of stuff after the fact anyway, because you're getting the release version of the game.

oh fffffffffffff, I bought this at full price a year and a half ago (New Year's Eve 2007.)

It was worth the price then, and it's even moreso now.

For $9.99 I say go for it. TF2 for PC usually costs $19.99 on its own .

Will be picking up asap. I never play games like this ever (heck, Red Steel is probably one of the only shooting-type games in a looong time other than that one Gamecube James Bond game that I've enjoyed let alone played), but this could be a chance to get in to them. Plus its something to do with all the free time I'll have coming up...

Picked it up last night, set Steam up (see Online Gaming thread).

TF2 will take a very long time to download and install. It's around 6 gigs. I may see satisfaction by Sunday.

Do it. TF2 PC has features that the 360 OBox doesn't have at the moment and in the end costs less when they sell all the free addons the PC got.
