I always wonder how people manage to post so much. And then I look at my posts and realize they're usually at least a paragraphish, and most other people post a few lines per post, if that.

I can never seem to be okay with short posts though. o.O 'There should be more! Augh!'

I meant when I'm posting. When other people post, and it's short, it's fine. But when I'm typing, I can't seem to find a good.. stopping point when I haven't typed much.

If you're wondering, I'm also not good at telling stories or jokes. I 'beat around the bush' all the time, and forget punchlines (which has nothing to do with this, but oh well!). .. Yep.

I only recently learned that it's okay to make a post that's the equivalent of one IRC line, instead of having to wait for a full paragraph to come out. It really has made posting a lot easier...though I still find myself wanting to type more a lot of the time.

I tend to almost all the time.

Sometimes it takes me forever to post; I'll start a post, get distracted by something, suddenly remember I was going to post, add more.. get distracted, and so on. Sometimes it takes me all night to make one silly post.

... Although that has more to do with my ADD-ish tendencies than wanting to explain things, I guess.

I actually type up quite a lot of posts, it's just that most of the time right before sending it I just close the tab.

I'll often have trouble figuring out the best way to write a post and when I start making a long one, I find that i'm probably repeating myself or saying what I'm trying to in a long, beat-around-the-bush manner. It annoys me but I don't want to rewrite the whole post... So I often fear that my point is lost when I write big posts.
