If I had a PS3 I would buy LBP because it's just unbelievably awesome to see what people can do with it. Very impressive.

And the good part about all of this is that with a little effort on your part. It is not that hard to make a level like the one you have just seen. There are plenty of well made levels from the community; that is if you feel like soiling yourself in the massive waves of shit the community has to offer, it's granted that you will find something great like this one.

It may seem difficult. But it's easy to master and expand on what you know.

I actually just recently picked up this game myself.. By itself it can be quite the fun time waster, but if you really apply yourself to the level editor.. well, yea. The videos speak for themselves. Some of the stuff I've seen online already have really impressed me too. There was one level in particular I ran across the other night which was based on Castlevania: SOTN's castle (well, a portion of it). Now that one was pretty neat.. The author pulled off some fun things in that level.

I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who owns a PS3.. especially so if you happen to be the least bit creative.

Yeah. They recreated Gradius and Tetris already on it and they do have a lot of good stuff if you look. However, like most user-content-dependent games, you will have to go through lots of crap to get to the good ones.

I haven't played it but I've seen videos.

My first two games were MGS4 and Disgaea 3, actually. LBP was something I meant to pickup a lot earlier than this, but things have been so hectic for me lately it had to wait awhile.. It was worth the wait though, I'd say.

This is very true. I've only had the game a short time, but already I've seen how flooded the servers are with junk like that.. The gems you do find really make up for it though. And really, if you're creative a person and enjoy making things enough (like I do) then it won't be much of a problem.. Level editors are (and will always be) one of my all time favorite things when it comes to gaming, so just being able to fool around with that and make my own stuff is enough to keep me playing for a good long time.
